The Center for Learning and Teaching at Forman Christian College started in 2004 and is currently directed by Dr. Jeanette Coufal. The Center's mission is to facilitate continuous improvement and professional development among faculty in order to create excellence in teaching and student learning.
The Center assesses the needs of faculty each year, offers workshops on topics of value to the Forman faculty, and publishes a regular newsletter with teaching tips for faculty at Forman. The Director also consults individually with faculty to provide assistance and support. The Center has a library of reference books on effective teaching strategies available as well.

- To provide consultation, training and resources to faculty and staff in order to enhance the quality of teaching and student learning at Forman Christian College.

- To establish small learning communities among faculty for reflection on the teaching/learning process and self-improvement.
