The Intermediate program has been developed in accordance with the syllabi prescribed by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore. There are two programs: Intermediate Arts and Humanities and Intermediate Sciences.

All students in the Intermediate FA/ FSc program are required to take the following four compulsory subjects:

Compulsory Subjects:

  • Urdu
  • English
  • Islamic Education (first year)
  • Pakistan Studies (second year)

For Overseas Students:

  • Pakistani Culture
  • English
  • Civics
  • Pakistan Studies

Depending on their specialization, students then have three additional courses in their field of interest. The combinations available for these specializations are detailed under each program:

Students are divided into sections depending on the course combinations to which the student is admitted. Students remain with the same section during their two year program. Each first year student is assigned a faculty member who serves as his advisor during the first year of studies. This faculty member is available to answer questions, offer academic advice, and help students find the resources they need to succeed in their Intermediate studies.

Students completing the two year program are well-prepared for the Intermediate examinations conducted by the Lahore Board each year. Examinations are conducted in December of each year to help students prepare for the Lahore Board exams held in the spring of the following year. Special assistance is available for students to help them prepare for these examinations each year.
