Forman presently has two academic options at the University level: the four year baccalaureate program and a two year master's program for graduates with a conventional bachelor's degree from a Pakistan university. In the future, Forman hopes to offer a PhD program in selected disciplines as well.
The four year baccalaureate program mirrors the best liberal arts programs offered by western universities. Students choose one of 17 majors offered by the College and fulfill the General Education requirement by taking classes in the humanities, social sciences, communication, physical or natural sciences and mathematics and computer sciences. The opportunity to have broad exposure to many different disciplines and to help prepare students for lives as leaders are key elements of Forman's baccalaureate program.
All baccalaureate students are examined in core competencies at the end of the second year. These include both quantitative and language skills. At the end of their final year, all students sit for comprehensive examinations.
The master's programs are offered in selected disciplines: Biological Sciences, Economics, English, Mathematics, Political Science, and Urdu. The two year program offers concentrated study in each field. Classes are based on the semester system with two semesters each year.
