If you're serious about your studies but committed to leadership and service, Forman's baccalaureate program is the place for you. Forman seeks students who are truly motivated to make a contribution to Pakistan and to the world. The new four-year baccalaureate program offers an internationally competitive curriculum based on the standards of western universities. Founded on the principles of excellent liberal arts education, FCC intends to graduate students with a well-rounded education, preparing them for a lifetime of learning, leadership and service.
A liberal arts education is one that is designed to develop skills that serve an individual throughout his or her life, regardless of the jobs the student might have. As Dr. Donald Knuth, Professor Emeritus at Stanford University states, " ... a liberal (arts) education is supposed to teach you something about everything and everything about something." It includes a focus on developing analytical skills, an ability to do critical reflection, problem solving skills, communication skills, computation competency and the ability to synthesize knowledge from different disciplines.
Forman has developed a program that gives students opportunities to develop all of these skills. With 17 majors available to students and the opportunity to choose your own classes, the FCC bachelor's program is unique in Pakistan. We're glad you are interested in exploring this exciting new program.
The application process involves submitting a completed application form along with the required supporting documents. Candidates that compete favorably on the basis of merit or in a special category will be asked to come for an interview with Forman faculty.
The College employs a merit based admissions process with special categories of admission for select groups. Our Admissions staff is available to answer your questions and help you understand how this new program is unique. You can contact them for more information.
