Where can you meet students with academic interests similar to yours? Where can you show off your talent for writing, speaking, or singing?
Where can you find a place to belong at Forman Christian College?
Answer: The student social societies!
Each academic department has its own society set up to promote interest in and education about their respective fields. In addition, there are societies for special projects or interests: The Debate Society, Photography, Dramatic Society, Folio Magazine, Islamiat, Red Crescent, Forman Christian Life, and the Music Society.
All of the societies provide opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and to encourage you to be confident. The Societies have faculty advisors and student office bearers. Membership is open to all students and is announced at the beginning of each school year. The office bearers of each society organize seminars, social functions, lectures, and excursions for the members. |
