Objectives of Career Planning at Forman Christian College

  • Develop and administer the career planning program for the University students.
  • Administer a program of job placement for graduates of the University.
  • Develop and administer a Career Information Center for students.
  • Select, administer and interpret various tests, inventories and other measures.

The Career Planning and Placement Office has as its main objective helping you find a match between who you are and the job environment that suits you. The first step is to know who you are, what you need and want and what your interests and talents are. Career planning is not a one-time event. It is a dynamic on-going process of career development as you learn and respond to change, both within yourself and in the organizations with which you work.

These are some of the common and often difficult questions students ask. The Career Planning and Placement Office is here to help you find the answers.

  • What subject should I choose as major?
  • What field is best for me?
  • What do I want to be doing after graduation?
  • Where do I want to be after five years?
  • Should I get a better job?
