The Faculty Advising Office organized the Annual Advising Fair on Feb 27-28, 2024 in the football ground. All Academic Departments including “AAC Degree Audit Corner, Career Services” and “International Education Offices” placed their stalls to facilitate and guide the visiting students.
Seniors, Juniors, Freshmen, and Sophomores attended the event on both days to get information on their respective majors, and career paths and to get their degrees audited. UNIV100 Advisors/Advisees and Writing Center Desks added a new flavor to the event. It was the 12th in-person Annual Advising Fair and to celebrate its first decade some support events were also incorporated this year to provide the advisors and advisees a recreational opportunity along with Academic Activities to create a congenial, engaging, and friendly environment as it is important for holistic development of the Advisees.
The Rector, Vice-Rector, Associate Vice-Rector, Deans, and Heads of Academic Departments also visited the Advising Fair, encouraged the Faculty advisors, and gave their valuable feedback. It was a good opportunity for faculty and students to interact with each other and discuss meaningful academic plans as well as plans that would help them to progress and demonstrate the core values of FCCU and make its mission successful by becoming responsible citizens of Pakistan and the broader world. All stakeholders participated in it with enthusiasm.
Head of Faculty Advising, thanked and expressed his gratitude to the worthy Rector and Vice Rector of FCCU for their visit and constant support. Academic Departments, contributors, and all participants were also appreciated for their efforts to make it a historical and successful event as it was the 12th in-person Annual Advising Fair and very well attended.
