HEC’s 11th All Pakistan Women Swimming Intervarsity Championship 2022-23

FCCU’s Syeda Eesha Umer participated in HEC’s All Pakistan Women Swimming Intervarsity Championship 2022-23, organized by the sports directorate of Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, in Lahore.  She won 4 Bronze Medals and 1 Silver Medal. Total 13 different universities participated in this Championship including FCCU. Syeda Eesha Umer was also awarded cash prize per medal, Bronze Medal Rs. 3000 & Silver Medal Rs.4000, by Former MPA Shumaila Rana. This is a noteworthy achievement. On Saturday 26 November 2022, 897 Bachelors (Hons), 248 Postgraduate, and 1 PhD student graduated in various disciplines from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) during a ceremony attended by dignitaries, FCCU faculty, staff, and the parents and families of the graduates. Governor of Punjab Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman was the chief guest for the occasion. The Baccalaureate (Hons) valedictory speech was given by Ms. Aima Kashif who graduated with a CGPA of 4.000. The Department of Environmental Sciences, Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), hosted a two-day workshop on 9th and 10th November, 2022 at FCCU for its recent project entitled “Scientific and sustainable application of groundwater treatment technology for safe drinking water supply in Punjab, Pakistan”.
