On 18th September 2024, the Marketing and Outreach Team hosted the Booklets Launch Ceremony, a memorable celebration honoring the achievements of students and alumni. The event brought together students, faculty, and notable alumni, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with pride for the institution’s continued success.
The ceremony marked two significant milestones. The first was the highly anticipated launch of the third edition of the Independence Day booklet, titled Notable Formanites in the IT World. The evening also featured the debut of a new booklet celebrating the youngest generation of Formanites, titled Formanite Achievers (2023-2024).
Mrs. Badia Raza, Chief Marketing & Outreach Officer, warmly welcomed the attendees and spoke about the university’s commitment to fostering innovation and talent among its students. Notable Formanites in the IT World was unveiled, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony. Heartfelt remarks were delivered by some of the featured Formanites, including Mr. Attiazaz Munawwar UD Din, Founder and Chairman of Khazana Enterprise and the President of the Formanites Alumni Association, Mr. Najeeb Ghauri, Founder of Systems Limited, Mr. Anthony Richards, Founder of Digital Office Systems Pvt. Ltd. and the Chief Information Officer at FCCU, and Mr. Muhammad Taimoor Ali, COO of Bookme Tickets (SMC-Private) Limited, who shared their experiences and gratitude for the role FCCU played in shaping their careers.
Dr. Jonathan S. Addleton, Rector of FCCU, delivered a thought-provoking address, emphasizing the university’s pivotal role in nurturing future leaders. Following his speech, the second booklet, Formanite Achievers (2023-2024), was unveiled, celebrating the achievements of students in various fields. This was followed by speeches from three current students being featured in this booklet, including Mr. Obil Abid Nathaniel, this year’s Rector’s Scholar, Mr. Hamza Ahmed, Founder of OmniLife Society at FCCU, and Ms. Wafia Khalid, national medalist in weightlifting, who shared their personal journeys and hopes for the future, inspiring the audience with their stories of resilience and determination.
The event concluded with a networking session and high tea, allowing attendees to connect and reflect on the evening’s celebrations. The gathering was a testament to FCCU’s enduring legacy and its impact on both its students and the broader community.
