The climatic crisis around the globe has been an increasing and alarming threat to world’s ecology. Pakistan’s multilayered climate concerns include erratic rainfalls, receding of glaciers, abrupt floods, reduced hydropower generation during drought years, a decrease in the capacity of water reservoirs and an increase in food insecurity.
