Students of Digital Logic Design course participated in a Line following Robotics Competition on 18th January, 2023. The event was held in S-Octa where 111 students divided in 40 teams build robots to complete a path in shortest possible time. The robots were made without the use of programmable devices to enable the students to understand the basic link between sensors and actuators. A side goal of this activity was to enhance the student’s understanding of the benefits of using programmable devices to control the actuators. After a nerve wracking match, one winning team was announced. The winning team comprised of Shikyna Nobel, Hadia Arshad and Bilal Ahmed completed the task in shortest time of 7.93 seconds and won a cash prize of Rs 5,000.
