With the theme of the hackathon being “Generating Solutions to Global Problems through VR/AR Augmentation”, Omnilife students society of the CS department organized a 2- day national event packed with educational talks, VR experiences, workshops, networking opportunities, merch giveaways, mini-games/trivia and much more! Participants had 48 hours to come up with their products and pitches based around VR and AR augmentation, which were then evaluated by a panel of judges. The solutions presented were based on agriculture, healthcare, waste management, education and other themes. A collective sum of 100,000 PKR was set aside as the prize pool, courtesy of our partner company, OmniLife VR Global.
