The Career Services and Internships Office hosted a series of meetings with ‘Teach for Pakistan’ in which the working of the organization was discussed and the avenues for collaboration for the benefit of students of Forman were brought to light.
After productive sessions with the client organization, Ms. Nawal Zahra (Sr. Associate Recruitments) conducted a session with the FCCU students to inform them about the mission and vision of the working of ‘Teach for Pakistan’. In the session, Ms. Nawal explained the Fellowship Program under which a contract of two years is signed by a candidate with the organization where he/she has to teach in underprivileged educational institutes. The members participating in the program are referred to as “Fellows’ by the organization.
The next day, Ms. Rahat Abbasi (Manager Recruitments) along with Ms. Nawal Zahra (Sr. Associate Recruitments) visited Forman and met Ms. Shawna Person (Chief Student Services Officer), Mr. Adnan Ilyas (Manager Internships) and the team of CSIO and an MOU signing ceremony took place. Ms. Rahat Abbasi and Ms. Shawna Person became the signatories of the MOU document.
A day after, a preliminary one-to-one discussion was carried out with the interested candidates and a detailed walk-through of the application process was given to the students and all their queries and concerns were answered.
