The Department of Environmental Sciences organised a Seminar on “Climate Change and Urban Flood Water Management” on January 24th, 2023, at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Lahore. The guest speakers were Mr. Sohail Ali Naqvi (Director Freshwater Program, WWF-Pakistan), and Dr. Muhammad Imran Azam (Manager of Community Water Stewardships, Freshwater Program, WWF-Pakistan). The purpose of this seminar was to raise awareness among the community and students on the vulnerability of Pakistan towards Climate Change and its Catastrophic Impacts, especially on Cities and Urban Water Resources, and discussion on meaningful solutions to reduce impacts in terms of urban flooding and urban water resources management.
