Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Cricket team has started off their H.E.C. Intervarsity Cricket Championship 2022-23 campaign with a win. The team emerged victorious in their opening match against Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on February 21, 2023, at the University of the Punjab.
In a thrilling encounter, LUMS batted first and managed to put 221/10 on the scoreboard in 39.1 overs. The FCCU team, however, chased down the target in 37.4 overs, losing only six wickets and securing a well-deserved victory.
The FCCU cricket team displayed remarkable skills, both on the field and with the bat, and one of their players, Mohib Meer, was declared the Player of the Match. Mohib played a crucial role in the team’s win, scoring an outstanding 60 runs and displaying excellent wicket-keeping skills.
