PharmD Admissions

The Department of Pharmacy at Forman Christian College offers Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), a five-year professional degree program approved by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, to cater the needs of ever growing pharmaceutical industry in research and development, manufacturing, quality assurance, clinical research, marketing, drug regulatory affairs (a major area of pharmacy jobs in the country) and the requirements of pharmaceutical care.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Intermediate students whose Intermediate Part 1 and 2 are clear with Pre-Medical (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and have scored a minimum of 660 / 1100 marks.
  • A Level students who have cleared 3 A Level principal subjects with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (No AS accepted), along with 8 O Level subjects including English, Mathematics and 3 compulsory subjects (Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies, and Urdu).
  • Copies of Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) Equivalence Certificate(s) must be submitted by students who are from GCE O / A Level, High School, or International Bachelor of Studies (BS) IB backgrounds. The IBCC Equivalence must be in Pre-Medical with at least 660 / 1100 marks.
  • Result awaiting students or those without the IBCC Equivalence (if applicable) are not eligible to apply.

Further Admission Requirements:

  • All applicants must take the FEAT (Forman Entrance Admission Test) Accuplacer conducted by FCCU, which tests English and Mathematics skills.
  • Admission is based on previous academic performance and FEAT result.

Important Note: Each applicant can apply to one program only. You cannot apply to Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and any other Bachelor’s program. So, do not try to submit multiple Admission Forms, as only one Admission Form will be considered. If you apply to Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) but you are not on its Merit, instead you are on the Merit of Bachelor of Studies (includes 23 majors), you will be offered admission accordingly.

Documents Required*

For Intermediate

  1. Attested copy of the Matriculation Result Card. 
  2. Attested copy of the Intermediate Part 1 and 2 Result Card in Pre-Medical (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) and have scored a minimum of 660 / 1100 marks.
  3. Clear copy of the B-Form / CNIC.
  4. Clear copy of the Father / Guardian CNIC.
  5. Recent passport-size photograph with white background (in case of non-compliance, the form will be rejected).
  6. Paid receipt of the Application Processing Fee of Rs. 4000.

For O / A Level, High School, and International Bachelor of Studies (BS) IB students:

  1. Attested copy of 8 O Level subjects – Should include English, Mathematics and 3 compulsory subjects (Islamiyat, Pakistan Studies, and Urdu).
  2. Attested copy of the O Level Equivalence issued by the IBCC.
  3. Attested copy of 3 A Level subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) – No AS accepted.
  4. Attested copy of the O and A Level Equivalence issued by the IBCC
    or if applicable
  5. Attested copy of the High School or IB Diploma (whichever applicable), Transcript, and IBCC issued Equivalence Certificate. 
  6. The IBCC Equivalence must be in Pre-Medical with at least 660 / 1100 marks.
  7. Clear copy of the B-Form / CNIC.
  8. Clear copy of the Father / Guardian CNIC.
  9. Recent passport-size photograph with white background (in case of non-compliance, the form will be rejected).
  10. Paid receipt of the Application Processing Fee of Rs. 4000.


* All documents submitted must be attested by a Gazetted Officer.

Forman Entry Admission Test (FEAT)

  1. For admission in the 5-year Doctor of Pharmacy program, the university conducts the FEAT (Accuplacer). It is mandatory to take the Entrance Test.
  2. The Test Scores are valid for 18 months. If you have already taken the test, please contact the Admissions Office for further information.
  3. It is a 2-hour computer-based test and is conducted on the university campus.
  4. FEAT (Accuplacer) consists of 2 parts: English and Mathematics.
  5. Applicants need not bring any stationary with them for the test.
  6. Calculators and cell phones are not allowed in the test venue.

  8. University does not recommend any books for study, but for reference, applicants can use SAT 1 for guidance.

FEAT (Accuplacer) Admit Card

All applicants who have successfully completed the Admission Form and submitted the Application Processing Fee will be emailed the Admit Card for the test. To ensure that you get the Admit Card in time please read the below mentioned instructions:

  1. When filling the Admission Form please write the correct email address, the one that is used by you, and you know the password.
  2. Please keep checking your emails regularly and the Spam folder.
  3. You will only get the Admit Card if you have sent the correct photograph (Selfies rejected).
  4. The Admit Card mentions the degree program you have applied for: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  5. Please bring a printed copy of your Admit Card when you come for the test.
  6. Please read instructions on the Admit Card carefully to avoid any confusion.
How to print the Admit Card?
Please make sure when opening the email not to print the screen (don’t press CTRL+P), instead click the printer icon on the top right corner and then print the email.
