We are pleased to invite you to the Postgraduate Conference on Interdisciplinary Learning, which will be in a hybrid mode. The conference is organised by the School of Graduate Studies (GS), Lingnan University on March 31 and 1 April 2023. The conference theme is Intersections of Research, Society and Postgraduate Education.

- Prof Orkan Okan, Technical University of Munich, Germany
The 2023 Postgraduate Conference will deliberate on the intersections between research and social advancement and the implications for postgraduate research and training. This conference shall offer a platform for research and taught postgraduate students across the globe to interact with each other and share their current and prospective research and learning experiences with established scholars. We welcome proposals relating to the fields of Social Sciences (broadly defined to include those in public health, and the built environment, etc.), Business, and Arts and Humanities. Papers relating to humanitarian and other technologies are also strongly encouraged, especially given the role of technologies in teaching and learning during the pandemic.
The intended presentation can be a completed project or a research proposal, with its focus on any or a combination of the following thematic areas:
- Theoretical Discourse
- Methodological Reflections
- Empirical Research
- Literature Review and Research Agenda
- Comparative Research
Students can choose to present their work either orally or via a poster. If the students are interested in participating in the conference as a presenter, please submit an abstract of about 250 words via the registration link (https://lingnan.asia.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9LcNuKLuAhRc2KW) by 28 February 2023 for consideration. All are also welcome to join the conference as a participant.
Scholarship
Scholarship may be provided to research postgraduate students from developing countries who are currently studying outside of Hong Kong. Eligible students who are interested in applying for the scholarship are required to upload (i) a CV and (ii) a letter of recommendation/support from their supervisor to the registration system form by 3 February 2023. Applications without the required supporting documents will not be considered by the Panel.
