Brief Profile:

 Dr Aaisha Amjad is an Assistant Professor at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University). She has published in reputable journals, focusing on women’s health, adolescent issues and spiritual coping. Her recent scholarly interests have expanded to encompass theoretical explorations of stigma, vulnerability, guilt, shame, forgiveness, and empathy across various contexts of coping and well-being. She has authored 30 articles in both national and international journals and is currently developing several manuscripts that engage theoretically with her PhD research data on infertility, spiritual coping, and the quality of life among infertile couples.

Dr. Aaisha’s teaching portfolio includes courses on research methods, clinical sociology, and introductory sociology, where she promotes critical thinking and strives to uphold high standards of academic rigor. Beyond her roles in teaching and research, she has actively contributed to various projects conducted by national and international organizations, including the World Bank and the International Labour Organization.
