BRIEF PROFILE
Mr. Adeel Khalid is pursuing his Ph.D. in linguistics specializing in composition and rhetoric studies in ESL from International Islamic University, Islamabad, (IIUI) under the HEC Faculty Development Program – (Batch-II). He earned his MPhil TESOL with a specialization in English for Special Purposes from Beaconhouse National University in 2015. As an ESL instructor, he has taught the English language in various renowned institutions in Lahore. He was an Exchange TESOL Fellow 2022, RELO Virtual Exchange 2022 US, NELTA Exchange Fellow 2018 Nepal, and the recipient of the HEC Faculty Development grant. He is currently working on a project in documenting indigenous languages of Pakistan through Oral History under GLCA/GLAA. He is pursuing his research interests in digital humanities, corpus linguistics, digital rhetoric, digital storytelling, and digital multimodal composition.

Research interests
Mr. Khalid is a recipient of Exchange TESOL Fellow 2022, RELO Virtual Exchange 2022 US, NELTA Exchange Fellow 2018 Nepal, and the recipient of the HEC Faculty Development grant for his PhD Studies. He is the convener of ‘Digital Humanities in Linguistics’ an undergraduate course at FCCU. His research interests are affordances in digital media writing in ESL classrooms, multiliteracies, language documentation using oral history, and multimodal authoring paths, digital multimodal composition, specifically for an academically diversified group of students. He hopes to continue his research interests, focusing on how students used diverse digital media platforms as alternative authoring paths for his future research.
