Brief profile:
Mr. Alfred Yaqub is a Lecturer in the Center for Language Development (CLD) at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) where he teaches computer-based academic competency and utilization of ICT concepts for intensive development of English. He has been serving at FCCU since 2013. With a multidisciplinary qualification and a well-honed teaching and consultancy experience of over 22 years at diverse academic and corporate institutions, he is committed to create an engaging learning environment interacting with cutting edge technologies. He is very active in career coaching, leadership development, public speaking, social work, and pursuits of research in the disciplines of education. He has served as a trainer for university students, faculty and staff at FCCU and other educational institutions. Passionate also for languages and translation studies, he carries an experience of more than two decades in English to Urdu language interpretation and has translated over five published books. He has been serving as an external reviewer for the government’s Single National Curriculum (SNC) initiative for Punjab Curriculum and Text Book Board and is on the board for miscellaneous associations rendering services for the national development.
