Brief Profile:
Mr. Ammar Yasir is a Lecturer at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University). He has taught, conducted research, developed curricula, and supervised theses as both a permanent and visiting faculty member at several public and private universities, gaining experience in diverse academic settings.
His research focuses on youth politics, digital media, populism, democracy, and social movements. Theoretically, he is interested in modernity, colonialism, decolonial sociology, and post-colonial theory.
Besides teaching and research, he has a passion for editing and translating books in both Urdu and English. He also worked as an editor with the foliobooks, Lahore.
