Dr Anam is affiliated with Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Lahore as an Assistant Professor since 2010 and is also serving as Head of the Academic Advising Center, FCCU. Dr Anam has a Ph.D. in crime programming and risk perception from University of the Punjab. She has taught at various universities including University of the Punjab, University of Central Punjab and National College of Arts as visiting faculty. Her research interests include Media and Crime, Risk and Crisis Communication, Communication and disadvantaged groups, Media and Social Literacy and Journalism and Social Justice. Dr Anam Muzamill has also worked as a digital intervention specialist for interdisciplinary projects related to primary health and social literacy. She presented papers in the areas of political marketing, disaster communication and gender and digital storytelling at international and national conferences.
