Dr. Athar Yaseen Khan is a Professor of Physical Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry at the Forman Christian College (A Chartered University). He has over 50 years of teaching and research experience in a variety of fields of physical chemistry which included Material Science, Electrochemistry, and Molecular Spectroscopy. Dr. Khan’s current interests in research are electron transfer reactions, drug – DNA interactions, green solvents (deep eutectic solvents) and their physicochemical properties and charge transfer complexes. Dr. Athar Y. Khan has published 86 research papers in journals of repute which included Journal of American Chemical Society, Journal of Royal Chemical Society, Journal of Molecular Liquids, Spectrochimica Acta Part A (Molecular and Bimolecular Spectroscopy, ACS Omega, Electrochimica Acta etc.
