Brief Profile:
Dr. Ayesha is the Assistant Professor of linguistics at the Forman Christian College (A Chartered University)’s Center for Language Development department (CLD). Her research interests include the investigation of communicative practices in hospital settings. Dr. Ayesha Junaid is an emerging researcher, who has published 10 articles both nationally and internationally. She has completed her PhD in Applied Linguistics on HEC fully funded scholarship at University of Management and Technology, Lahore. A part from that, she is an honorary fellow Ph.D. associate at the University of Liverpool, UK. She has availed International Support Initiative Programme (IRSIP) scholarship from the University of Liverpool, UK in 2020, under the supervision of Dr. Janet Strivens. Besides this, she has completed a number of professional development courses to further strengthen her theoretical underpinning of the subject. She has a vast experience of about 18 years in teaching field. She has taught at different levels in diverse contexts including the universities in Pakistan and in Saudi Arabia.
