BRIEF PROFILE
Dr Faira Completed PhD under the supervision of the Prof. Dr. Gerhard Pfister form Germany.
Dr Faira is also a Co-Author of a SINGULAR LIBRARY ”primdecint.lib”. Her area of research
includes Commutative Algebra, Spline theory and Mathematical Biology.
Dr Faira started her teaching journey by teaching in Lahore college for Women University Lahore
in 2014 on IPFP HEC. Along which she stared teaching Mathematics to Engineering students in
FAST-NU Lahore as a Visiting Faculty till 2015. Dr Faira had the honor to teach in Pakistan
most prestigious Engineering University (UET) December 2014. Made Mathematics relevant to
students while teaching intermediate Algebra, Calculus and mathematics for Management
Students. Incorporate technology into the curriculum to help students visualize and comprehend
material.
In 2016 Dr Faira joined Forman Christian College University as Assistant Professor in
Department of Mathematics where she is teaching Mathematics to Mathematics Major students
and Computer Science Department till date.
