BRIEF PROFILE

Dr Ibatsam Khokhar holds a PhD degree in Mycology and Plant pathology from the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. She has completed POST DOC in The Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (GSCAAS) Beijing, China. She has nearly 15 years of experience in Research and Teaching.  She has more than 60 research publications in refereed journals, 1 book and has supervised BS and MPhil students.  Her research interest is to isolate, identify and screen fungal species for different enzymes production. To study antibacterial properties and plant growth enhancement effect of fungal extracts. She is also interested in checking the pathogenicity of  postharvest fungal pathogens.

RESEARCH & PUBLICATIONS
The research in our group at FCC focuses on different fungal species. Our research students are working on isolation, identification and screening of fungal species for different enzymes production. To study antibacterial properties and plant growth enhancement effect of fungal extracts. We are  also interested in checking the pathogenicity of  postharvest fungal pathogens.
