Dr. Muhammad Abbas is working as a professor of chemistry at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Lahore, Pakistan since January 2021. He has worked in a research-oriented pharmaceutical company in Vienna for about ten years as senior scientist and director R&D. He has worked in Germany for more than ten years on Organic-Synthesis at different research institutes and universities where he did number of scientific and commercially important projects.
In 2010, He was appointed as Assistant Professor at King Saud University Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and stayed there for about two years. Dr Abbas was working at HEJ research institute Karachi where he worked on the isolation and characterization of bioactive natural products from different plants.
