Brief Profile:

Dr Muhammad Tahir has served as an Associate Professor of Urdu at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Lahore for over 21 years, bringing extensive expertise in Urdu creative writing, poetry, and fiction to his role. He is widely recognized in Pakistan for his contributions, having authored numerous dramas and television programs. Notably, for the past 15 years, he has been a key writer for “Hasb-e-Haal,” the renowned socio-political comedy show. Additionally, Dr Muhammad Tahir is esteemed as a comic poet and has represented Pakistan on several international platforms.

Education:

• PhD research is on TV drama.
• MA, Urdu, M.A. (Punjabi), MA (Political Science), MA (History) from University of Punjab Lahore, Pakistan.
• MBA, American International University.

Research and Publications:

1. His Four books (Jeet buri lagti hai, Woh, Hasb e Haal Shayeri, Evaan e Urdu, Liturary Book) have been published.
2. Nineteen research articles have been published in HEC Recognized and other literary Journal.
