Brief Profile
Dr. Omer Salman Qureshi has more than 14 years of professional experience, including more than 7 years of post-PhD experience in professional academia and research at recognized universities. Earlier in his career, he served at College of Pharmacy, Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan and as provincial inspector of drugs for health department, Government of Punjab, Pakistan. He has accomplished MS and PhD from the Drug Delivery Systems Lab, Hanyang University, South Korea under the scholarship program by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. He has served as assistant professor and head of Pharmaceutics at Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lahore, Pakistan. He has presented his research work in the prestigious international conferences of South Korea and USA. He has published a number of research articles with more than 2100 citations. He has also published a book chapter and secured an international patent related to anticancer nanomedicines. He has supervised and co-supervised MPhil scholar in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology. His research interest is the development of nanomedicines, novel drug delivery systems, drug loaded nanoparticles and drug conjugates.
