Brief Profile
Dr. Usman Akhtar, a Registered Pharmacist currently on a Postdoc study leave, has had a distinguished career with significant national and international experience. After completing his PharmD in 2013 from Punjab University College of Pharmacy, University of the Punjab, Lahore, he served as a Research Scholar/Demonstrator at Punjab University College of Pharmacy. His academic journey continued with an M.Phil (Pharmacy) with three first and corresponding author publications, followed by a Ph.D. in Pharmacy at The Rhenish Friedrich Wilhelm University of Bonn, Germany, completed in 2020.
Dr. Akhtar joined Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center as a Radio Pharmacist before being appointed as an Assistant Professor at FCCU, Lahore, in October 2020. His scholarly impact is evident through the publication of 11 research/review papers in peer-reviewed indexed journals.
