Brief Profile
From 1989 to 1995, continuously won University Grants Commission (now HEC) Scholarships for B.Sc., M.Sc., and M. Phil. Studies. In M. Phil., won Chancellor’s and President’s Gold Medals for standing first in the Mathematics Department and Faculty of Natural Sciences, respectively. In 1995, won the Glasgow University Scholarship and Overseas Research Student (ORS) Award from the British Government for his Ph.D. Applied Mathematics.From 1999-2008, member of the Mathematics Faculty at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). In 2005/2006 he was decorated with a ” LUMS Outstanding Teacher Award in Mathematics”.
From 2008-2010, Associate Professor and 2010 till date, Professor of Mathematics at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University). Served as Chairperson of Mathematics from 2008 to 2011 and Dean of Information Technology and Mathematics (now Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences) from 2009-2015. Area of Research: Elastic waves, Electromagnetic Waves and Mathematics Pedagogical Techniques.
