BRIEF PROFILE
Ms. Maheen Zia teaches linguistics and writing & communication courses at FCCU. She has taught communication skills at National College of Arts , FAST NUCES and Punjab University prior to joining FCCU S he is a contributor to some of the country’s leading English newspapers including Dawn and The News.
She earned a Masters in Applied Linguistics (with a Gold Medal) from FAST NUCES and specialized in CALL (Computer Assisted Langua ge Learning). Her areas of interest ar e digital humanities, more specifically computational and corpus linguistics , in addition to sociolinguistics During her student life, she has done community service and project based internships with British Council and WWF.
