Maryyam Qasim Khan is an experienced professional with over a decade of experience in academia, strategic planning, and brand management. She holds a Master of Sciences in Finance and Management from Lahore School of Economics, Lahore, Pakistan, and a Master of Business Administration with a dual focus on Marketing and Finance from the same institution. With her rich background, Maryyam brings a wealth of expertise to her roles as Assistant Professor Marketing, Director of Executive Education, and Executive Committee Member at the School of Management, Forman Christian College Lahore. She has been an integral part of the university’s faculty since 2013, where she plays a pivotal role in teaching various courses such as Marketing, Sales Force Management, and Branding to BSc, MBA/EMBA & Diploma of Business Management students.
Maryyam’s dedication to bridging the gap between academia and industry is reflected in her efforts to connect students with real-world corporate experiences through industry case writing and student-corporate connections.
In addition to her academic contributions, Maryyam is actively involved in various leadership positions, demonstrating her commitment to women empowerment and community development. She currently serves as the Vice President of the South Asian Women Development Forum, representing Pakistan on a SAARC platform. Maryyam is also the President of the Handicraft Association of Pakistan, advocating for the preservation and promotion of traditional handicrafts. Previously, she served as the President of the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Bahawalpur, where she played a key role in fostering entrepreneurship and economic growth in the region.
Maryyam’s outstanding leadership and dedication have earned her prestigious awards such as the Women in Management Global 50 Award and the Federation of Indian Women Entrepreneurs Priyadarshini Award. Furthermore, she has represented Pakistan at the United Nations 67th Consultative Sessions for Women at the UN Headquarters in New York, showcasing her commitment to advocating for women’s empowerment on an international platform.
