Brief Profile
Aqdus Aslam is a Lecturer at the Department of Education at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University). She has an experience of fifteen years within the education sector, having worked with a full spectrum of stakeholders: schools, students, parents, teachers and in a diverse educational setups. These include a decade-long career as a consultant for schools (strategic planning; instructional experiences; curriculum development) and teacher trainer (pedagogy & instructional techniques, assessment, backward design, classroom management). She brings this 360-degree experience to her classrooms and teacher/faculty development programs, often involving students as co-creators when designing her courses.
Ms. Aslam has co-taught the Course Designing Workshop at the Center of Learning and Teaching at FCCU. She is currently leading the Department of Education’s initiative to offer professional development opportunities for school teachers.
Ms. Aslam is committed to creating classroom experiences that lead to meaningful and lifelong learning.
