BRIEF PROFILE
Ms. Mussarat Shahid is an Assistant Professor and Head of Writing & Communication Centre at the Forman Christian College (A Chartered University). She teaches Creative Writing, WRCM and History of Language Courses at the Department of English. In addition to her responsibilities at the Writing Center which include but are not limited to providing feedback on written assignments and helping students improve their written and spoken expression, she devotes her time in building capacity and works with the CLT (Center for Learning and Teaching, FCCU) on projects assigned to her. Besides her full time engagement with FCCU, Ms. Shahid serves as a subject specialist (English) and consultant for I-SAPS (Institute of Political and Social Sciences). As a subject specialist, she has developed and executed modules for School Leaders on Coaching Skills in the KP Province. As a consultant with the same firm, she is currently working on a World Bank funded project on developing modules to address the challenge of learning discontinuity during calamities. Ms. Mussarat has also served as a developer, reviewer and facilitator for QAED Academy, Punjab on inclusive education projects (UNICEF funded) and as a subject specialist for providing technical assistance in reframing the Classroom Observation Tool for English Subject specialists.
