BRIEF PROFILE
Ms. Sumaira Lodhi is a Lecturer of Economics at the Forman Christian College (A Chartered University)’s Department of Economics. She has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience in her respective field. Before joining Forman Christian College, Ms. Lodhi has worked as a research associate at Suleman Dawood School of Business (LUMS), research consultant in Sitara Chemicals Industry and Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC). She has also worked as a Lecturer of Economics at Qarshi University, Lahore. She has published research articles in well-reputed international and national journals of economics and social sciences. Ms. Lodhi has developed a research interest in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Economics of Investment and Finance, Economics of Tourism, Environmental Economics, Research Methods and Computer Applications. Her publications are focused at analyzing green-tourism, environmental degradation, and remittance-income driven consumption expenditures of households, environmental valuation techniques, and religious extremism. Moreover, she has expertise in data analytical softwares including STATA, EViews, QGIS, Python and SPSS.
