Brief Profile
Taimoor Farouk has been full-time faculty at FCCU’s Department of Philosophy since 2019. Alongside teaching, he is currently pursuing his PhD from Sofia University, Bulgaria, and his doctoral dissertation is on modal logic and metaphysics. He also has undergraduate and graduate degrees in philosophy from KU Leuven in Belgium and a degree in economics from Western University in Canada. Prior to embracing a life in academia, he worked as a journalist and, for a brief stint, as a farmer focused on sustainable agriculture. Taimoor now spends his time outside work running after his two kids, dabbling in poetry, and strumming incessantly on the guitar.
