Brief Profile
Prof. Wasif M. Khan works at the School of Management since 2005. He teaches graduate level courses in Managerial Accounting, Management Control Systems, Entrepreneurship, and Business Strategy. Previously, was among the founding faculty of the Lahore University of Management Sciences where he spent 18 years. He pioneered the teaching of Entrepreneurship in Pakistan. He has written over 25 cases on many issues in management. His research includes areas like management control systems, professionalizing family firms, and entrepreneurship. He has been a management consultant to some of the largest Pakistani firms as well as to numerous high growth family firms. He has also worked as an expert for the International Finance Corporation to help develop SMEs in Vietnam. In addition, he has extensive experience of working in both the technical, and the marketing areas in the aerospace and electronics industry in the USA.
